1, What time is check-in / check-out?

Check-in is between 2:00PM and 8:00PM. If you arrive before 2:00PM, you can leave your luggage at the reception.

Check-out is at 10:00AM. Please let our Reception Desk know in advance if you would like to make an extension.


2, Can I check-in after 8:00PM?

We can arrange late check-in for the guest arriving after 8:00PM.

But please inform us in advance so that we can prepare for your late arrival.

The front entrance will be locked after 8:00PM.


3, What documents do I need to stay at the ROUTE?

You must present your passport/Japanese Residence card upon arrival.


4, Is there a curfew?

We have no curfew but the entrance door will be locked at 8:00PM for security purposes.

Please use the key to open the entrance door and you may exit and enter the building at any time.


5, Is there an age restriction to stay at the hostel?

You must be at least 15 to stay at ROUTE style semi private cabin room.

For the Family room, there is no age restriction.


6, Where can I keep my belongings? Are there lockers in the rooms?

Each cabin has a door key so you can lock your luggage inside the rooms.

Also, there are small lockers for your valuables in all of the cabins.


7, Can I leave my luggage after check out?

We have a luggage storage service for the check out guests.

You may store your baggage with us free of charge until 8:00PM on your day of departure.


8, Can I change or cancel my reservation?

Based on our hostel cancellation policy, guests may cancel or modify their reservation as listed below.

Regular policy:

**Cancellation on the scheduled arrival day or 1day prior to the scheduled arrival day : 100% room charge

**Cancellation 2day prior to the scheduled arrival day : 50% room charge

**NO SHOW (cancellations without notice) reservations will be charged for the entire reserved stay.


Busy season, such as Summer or Spring season or during a festival going on:

**Cancellation between 1week and your scheduled arrival day: 100% room charge

**NO SHOW (cancellations without notice) reservations will be charged for the entire reserved stay.


9, Is there Wi-Fi in the hostel (Wireless Internet Access)?

Yes! We have FREE Wi-Fi available throughout the hostel!

You can access this at any time by clicking on the hostel connection and entering our password given at check-in.


10, Do I have to pay to use the hostel's computer in the common area?

No! We offer our computer FREE of charge.

We only ask that you are respectful to the other guests who may want to use the computers as well.


11, Do you serve breakfast?

Yes! We have nice breakfast served at the Cafe on the 2nd floor in the morning between 8:30AM-10:00AM for 500yen.

Please let the reception know at least one day before.


12, Does the Hostel have kitchen facilities?

Yes, we have a small kitchen with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, cups, plates, utensils, etc.


13, Do the bedrooms have bathrooms?

Shower and toilet in cabin are shared with other guests.

Family room has a private shower and toilet.


14, Do you provide a smoking-free environment?

We have a non-smoking policy anywhere inside the hostel.

If we find anyone smoking in the hostel, we will ask you to leave the hostel immediately, without any refundment.

If you would like to smoke, please smoke at the entrance area where there is an ashtray.


15, Do you have a washing machine?

You can hand in your laundry at the reception.

Laundry is 200yen. After about an hour, please come to pick up your laundry.

Unfortunately, we do not have a dryer, but you may hang your clothes on the rooftop.


16, Where can I park my car?

Unfortunately, we do not have a parking area.

However, there is a public parking lot around our hostel.

Parking rate:

Day-time rate (8am-8pm): around 100yen/40mins

Evening rate (8pm-8am): around 500yen


17, Do I have to bring my own towels? How much are the linens?

Free linens (bed sheets, pillow covers, and towels) are provided in all rooms when you check-in.

We also have free 2-in-1 shampoo and body soap in shower room.

Hairdryers are free to use in the common sink area.


18, Do you have rental bikes at your hostel?

Yes! We have bicycle rentals from 9:00AM to 8:00PM.

Special rental fee for the staying guests is 500yen/3hours,980yen/1day, and 1500yen/2days.

F.A.Q about CAFE

1, What time does cafe open?

We are open only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 11:30AM to 6:00PM. We are closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Breakfast for the staying guest is served every morning between 8:30AM to 10:00AM. (You need to book in advance for the breakfast.)


2, Can we visit cafe eventhough we are not staying guests?

Yes! You are welcomed! We have graham bread sandwiches, delicious coffee, and homemade muffins! Feel free to ask about any local information to our staff.


3, Can I reserve a table for cafe?

Yes, please call us at 095-895-8965 during our reception opening time 9:00AM-8:00PM.


1, What time does bicycles rental desk open?

We are open from 9:00AM to 8:00PM. But we have irregular days off.


2, How much are the rental bikes?

It is 980yen/3hrs, 1500yen/1day, and 2500yen/2days.

Special rental fee for the staying guests is 500yen/3hours, 980yen/1day, and 1500yen/2days.


3, Can I rent a bike for two days?

Yes, it will be 2500yen for two days.

If you are staying at other place, you can keep the bike with you but please be considerate of the place you are parking.


4, What do I need to rent a bike? Do I need any deposit for rental cycle?

Yes, we need 3000yen deposit or presentation of your valid credit card upon rental.

Also, you must present your ID upon rental.
