こんにちは、ROUTEです。

わたしたちはここ長崎で『ホステル』という形態のお宿を運営し、長崎を訪ねる旅行者の方々をお迎えしてきました。

「カフェと宿ROUTE」というお店の屋号は「すてきな長崎旅のルートが見つかりますように。そして私たちはそんな羅針盤であリたい。」そんな思いを込め名付けたものです。

この度、ROUTEでは長崎のB面に触れる旅を提案する「NAGASAKI SCOPE〜日常長崎」を企画いたしました。

日本の「はじっこ」にある長崎。東京よりも上海の方が近い。「はじっこ」長崎ゆえに、光と同時に影の歴史もその暮らしの中で育まれてきました。

観光のまち長崎は、いつも「A面」と言うべき明るく華やかな表情を見せているけれど、長崎を訪れる人々が魅了されてきたのは、実は長崎の「B面」生身の人間のリアルと結びつくそんな日常部分だったのかも知れません。

駆け足になりがちな長崎の旅。「NAGASAKI SCOPE〜日常長崎」で旅を少しだけスローダウン。１秒でも１分でも長く長崎に滞在いただける機会となりますよう心より願っております。

2024　春　 カフェと宿 ROUTE

It is loquat season in Nagasaki!

When traveling, you may have trouble encountering fruits that you can’t eat without a knife,

but loquat is a traveler-friendly fruit. You can eat it without a knife.

Just peel off the skin around the loquat with your hands and have a bite!

Be careful, as there are quite large seeds inside.

The photo shows a magnificent loquat that was presented at a loquat show, but if you go to a farmer’s market, you can buy a lot of loquats in a bag for about 200 to 300 yen.

You can only get loquat now, so please give them a try.
